Rooted in the
Valley
New Day Farms cultivates the rich agricultural heritage of Jammu & Kashmir through sustainable permaculture — breeding, growing, and nurturing the land with generations of knowledge.
About Us
Rooted in the Valleys,
Growing with the Land
New Day Farms Private Limited was founded with a single conviction — that the fertile valleys of Jammu & Kashmir hold the potential to grow in harmony with the earth. Grounded in the principles of permaculture, we work with the land, not against it.
From careful breeding programs and thoughtful planting to seasonal harvests and animal husbandry, every practice at New Day Farms reflects a deep respect for ecological balance and generational farming wisdom.
Our Practice
How We Cultivate
Permaculture Design
We design and manage our land using permaculture principles — creating self-sustaining ecosystems where each element supports another. From water harvesting to polyculture beds, every acre is intentional.
Crop Cultivation
Seasonal planting, growing, and harvesting of diverse crops suited to the microclimates of Jammu & Kashmir. We prioritise heirloom varieties, soil health, and biodiversity over monoculture yields.
Animal Breeding
Ethical breeding and rearing of livestock integrated into our permaculture systems. Our animals graze in rotation, contributing to soil fertility while living natural, healthy lives.
Seed Stewardship
Preserving and propagating heritage seed varieties native to the Kashmir valley. We maintain living seed banks and share knowledge with local farming communities.
